About Locust Ridge
Locust Ridge Farm is a friendly, family-oriented barn located in Malvern, Pennsylvania.  Owner and trainer, Bernadette Thompson, received her CHA trainer’s certification in 2005.  The numerous awards she has received include Leading Trainer for the Chester County Horse Show Association for 2008, 2013, and 2015 and Leading Trainer of the Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show and County Fair for 2007, 2009, and 2014.
 
Locust Ridge Farm's show team successfully competes at local and USEF rated shows ranging from a C rated to a AA.

Locust Ridge Farm is based on 28 acres.  The property includes:
            -  Multiple fields for turnout
​            - Daily Turnout
            -  Wash stall with hot and cold water as well as heat lamps
​            - Supplements, medications, minerals, electrolytes, etc. feed upon request
            -  Fenced, sand ring with stadium lights
            -  Outdoor cross country course
​            -  Multiple trails on property
​            - Stalls cleaned daily
​            - 14 matted stalls

​Lessons are offered to children of any age or skill level.
 
In addition to lessons, sales, and the show team, riding camps are also available during the summer. Multiple camps are offered during the course of each summer. The usual day at LRF camp consists of barn chores, fun horse crafts, riding lessons, learning of new horse material, and so much more! Throughout the week, there is a field trip, long trail ride, and awesome horse games. If you are interested in parctipating in a fun and informative week of horse camp, specific dates are down below.
